Al-Baik Garlic Sauce is a great combination with Al-Baik chicken broast. This Garlic Sauce is very easy to make, and it is adopted from Lebanese Cuisine. Mediterranean is a home for "Thoum/Toum (Garlic)" this is a traditional garlic sauce made in middle eastern cuisine.
Toum is a Lebanese garlic sauce that’s actually more like a spread because of its thickness. It’s super popular to spread it over Shish Tawook, grilled chicken, shawarma, rotisserie chicken and many other Middle Eastern dishes.
Al-Baik Style Garlic Sauce Recipe
INGREDIENTS
To make Corn flour paste:
1 cup Water
1/3 cup Corn flour
To make Corn flour paste:
3 Garlic cloves
70 gms Corn flour paste
2 tbsp Lemon juice
3/4 cup Milk
1 cup Olive Oil
2 tbsp Lemon juice
3/4 cup Milk
1 cup Olive Oil
METHOD
1) Boil water and add corn flour keep on mixing till you get a translucent paste, turn off the flame.
2) Let the paste cool down completely.
3) In a blender put all ingredients except olive oil, blend well.
4) Now keep blending and remove the small top of the lid, add olive oil drop by drop, till you get mayonnaise-like texture paste, then stop blending.
5) Put in a bowl add freshly chopped basil or thyme & Serve with your favorite snack/appetizer.
